Day 19 - 13 January - Male Maldives

Decided to stay on the boat… my excursion was to go to a resort and ‘lay in the sun’ for 6 hours… and of course snorkel… now for those of you that know me… I do not like to swim in the ocean… to many things to eat you !!!  So I opted to stay on the boat… and it was a lovely quiet day… ship almost to myself.

Saw my German friends at the Baristas bar… I was having my morning Americano after my morning constitutional (40 laps around the upper deck… 4 miles ish)

We are going to go to Colombo together day after next for sight seeing and dinner at the Ministry of Crab.  Here is the link - looks FABULOUS Ministry of Crab

    The ocean is a scary place lol. Glad you decided to stay on the boat and relax. I’m so glad you’re having such a great adventure. Keep us updated. Love M&J PS. Portland looks like Mount Everest right now. 14° and snowing.

So today begins my birthday celebration... I believe its is 39 hours of celebration  from midnight my time ... to midnight CA time :) What a way to start my birthday!!   Nancy treated me to a lovely breakfast of steak and eggs and champagne and mimosas!  The Reverie Hotel was amazing !!!  Here are some photos of the common spaces… Then back to the boat... Balloons and Champagne compliments of Sajeer and team... leisurely afternoon and a little day drinking...  Wonderful gift from Nancy.. eggshell inlaid coasters to compliment my art piece (again you’ll need to visit :)) Then a fabulous birthday dinner - complete with 'singing and cake'.   Nancy thanks for making it special!!! Love to all my friends and family… I’m one lucky gal!!!

16 February - Singapore, Singapore

I’m in heaven… well the temperature feels like hell… but I love Singapore… and now so does Nancy!  Here is the push-me pull-you tug boats helping us dock. Very cool to watch… first push me…   Then pull you…  We got through immigration with no hassles and walked around VivoCity until our guide Alvin was schedule to meet us. Here are a couple of photos of VivoCity Lunar New Year Decoration Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice Machines What a great guide… we used Architectours .  Based on our one experience, I highly recommend!!!  I’m just posting a bunch of photos and will caption them… So wonderful… Nancy and I are definitely coming back…  Started at Mt Faber - Nancy snapped a pic of Old WW2 bunker Fact… it was also known as Mt Washington…  Can you find out why??
