17 January - On the boat… in Hambantota Sri Lanka

 Still not feeling 100%… so decided to take it easy on the boat today..  do a little work and reading pleasure.  Here is what I was supposed to see Mulkirigala Buddhist Temple  I wouldn’t have made it… glad I didn’t go.

Haven’t done my  morning constitutional yet… so maybe I’ll make it a sunset day… we leave tonight for 2 days at sea (yes I love the days at sea) before arriving in Phuket, Thailand…. So during the days at sea… I’m going to get my hair colored… fingers crossed… keep asking me if I want to ‘change’ my color… yikes

End of the day.. feel back to normal. Got dressed up and went out to dinner at the Grand Dinning Room.  Good night for now.

      Yep… I get 6 bottles of liquor for free… I thought it was for the whole cruise…noooo it is 6 bottles every leg… there are 5 legs in this cruise… I’m going to start running a bootlegging business😁

So today begins my birthday celebration... I believe its is 39 hours of celebration  from midnight my time ... to midnight CA time :) What a way to start my birthday!!   Nancy treated me to a lovely breakfast of steak and eggs and champagne and mimosas!  The Reverie Hotel was amazing !!!  Here are some photos of the common spaces… Then back to the boat... Balloons and Champagne compliments of Sajeer and team... leisurely afternoon and a little day drinking...  Wonderful gift from Nancy.. eggshell inlaid coasters to compliment my art piece (again you’ll need to visit :)) Then a fabulous birthday dinner - complete with 'singing and cake'.   Nancy thanks for making it special!!! Love to all my friends and family… I’m one lucky gal!!!

16 February - Singapore, Singapore

I’m in heaven… well the temperature feels like hell… but I love Singapore… and now so does Nancy!  Here is the push-me pull-you tug boats helping us dock. Very cool to watch… first push me…   Then pull you…  We got through immigration with no hassles and walked around VivoCity until our guide Alvin was schedule to meet us. Here are a couple of photos of VivoCity Lunar New Year Decoration Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice Machines What a great guide… we used Architectours .  Based on our one experience, I highly recommend!!!  I’m just posting a bunch of photos and will caption them… So wonderful… Nancy and I are definitely coming back…  Started at Mt Faber - Nancy snapped a pic of Old WW2 bunker Fact… it was also known as Mt Washington…  Can you find out why??
