Thanks to my German friends Conny and Josef - for recommending our hotel and tour guide in Saigon!!! What a great adventure.  So our tour guide Mr. Cong… was actually 12… ok not really but very young…  Our adventure was part young person’s view (our guide), history lecture, food adventure, and fabulous hotel.  Let’s get it kicked off. 2 groovy chicks in front of Independence Palace… Site of the fall of Saigon It is now called the  Reunification Convention Hall  Very serious about the Feng Shui…  Nancy and I thought the chairs were uber cool….but They paled in comparison to the inlaid art work… Stunning Of course Nancy and I gravitated towards this as our guide called it A ‘painted wall’ (he didn’t seem a fan) Their version of a rumpus room :) Again… cool 60s vibe These windows were supposed to mimic bamboo They were very cool Then it was off to lunch sitting at a local cafe where we ordered drinks… and our guide had Banh-mi delivered on the back of a scooter… delicious!! We also visite
